Summer opportunities related to STEM education

There are two great summer opportunities that we want to share with you.

1. The Office of Science Outreach (OSO) at Stanford is looking for volunteers to help with activities for high school students conducting research on campus this summer. OSO is looking for volunteers to lead one or more 1.5 hour engineering activities for these students. They are also looking for volunteers to work with the students to create scientific posters presenting their summer research. Contact Kaye Storm if you are interested kstorm@stanford.edu.

2. Quality Evaluation Designs (www.QualityEvaluationDesigns.com) is looking for a student to assist in data collection and analysis of an NSF funded study exploring what influences highschool students to study STEM in college. Go to the website and contact Gary Lichenstein for more information.
